How to control a client computer remotely:
- Get ERC-Control
ERC-Control may be already stored
on your hard-disk or can be downloaded from Inletex
website at
http://www.inletex.com/downloads.html.
- Start ERC-Control
When you have located the ERC-Control.exe file, double-click on its icon to
launch it.
If no activation data can be found on your computer, you will see the
following screens:
First, a welcome message.

Then, a registration prompt.

If you don't have an Activation Key, just click on the OK button to enter a
10 minutes trial session.

If you have an Activation Key, just type it and click on the OK button to
enter an unrestricted session.

Once the application has started, you will see the ERC-Control interface.
- Adjust the Server (optional)
When ERC-Control has started, you may wish to choose a specific Server.

To choose a specific Server, click on the
refresh button, select the desired location, and tell your client what is
the Server to use.
- Generate the session Code

Generate a session code and give it to your client.
Once your client confirms that he has entered the Code and clicked on the
Connect button, click on the Show Computers button and wait.
- What could happend?
When you click on the Show Computers button, you can face one of the two
following situations:
- You can find your client's session Code in the connected
clients list.

In that case, double-click on the correct item to be connected to your
client's computer.
- Your client is not available.

In that case, you probably have to wait a bit more for the client, so
click again on the Show Computers button.
If the client stays unavailable, check both the Server and the Code.
- Control of the remote computer
If everything worked fine, you can now control the client
computer remotely.

- Close the session

To close the session, click on the Close session button that is located at the top right corner
of the remote computer screen, or close the ERC-Control window.
ERC-Control will then tell you how much time you spent online with your
client.

This information can be stored in your accounting or help desk system.
